excellent analogy to assessment objectives, like it. I hope they didn't get a mobile phone warning for taking them out for this task!

Thanks for the comments. Glad you're all finding it useful. Ahh I had to create my own master slide. Basically I got some brain background I found online and used it to create my own master template on PowerPoint. Takes a while...

This is fab Charlotte thank you. Quick question from an IT challenged individual - how do I edit it to change where you have your name/school?

Hiya. I believe if you go into view and then slide master you can edit the theme that way :)

Charlotte, just wanted to say Thank you for this particular resource. I integrated some of it into my intro lesson and it worked really well. The students were more engaged and lots of interaction took place. They loved the guessing the personality of the peer from the desert island activity. I love toilet roll!!! this was so funny, especially with the more confident ones who took 8 / 9 sheets . And the skills lesson at the end was very clever as it now leads neatly into my next lesson where I feel that I don't have to teach the skill as such but to re-cap what they are. Thank you Please feel free to use any of my resources too, I will keep putting up as much as I can.

This is really helpful, I want to create a starter pack for the next lot of students and will be using this to help me (if that's ok!) I'll post it on here when I am done.

Hi Charlotte, this is a retrospective thank you. I used this activity last year and it was absolutely fab. I also loved the slide design so have used it in a few of my resources (I hope you don't mind). Thank you so much for your hard work. I would have credited you by name on my resources but couldn't remember who had created it.....when I saw this again on resourcd I wanted to make sure I left a comment :)
