Article in 'The Times' by Simon Baron-Cohen. Suggests that Norwegian mass-murderer Breivik's state of mind can be understood in terms of a lack of 'affective empathy', coupled with an ideological belief system of extreme rigidity. He is not 'insane' in the conventional sense. Very clear and thought-provoking analysis , of interest to any psychology student.
