Students are put into groups. They each get an A3 twitter profile with an essay title on. Each group has to fill in a tweet sheet for that profile. The tweet sheet must be an idea to answer the essay question. They can be as creative as they like but in 30 words or under. The group sticks the tweet sheets onto their profile and they then move to the next profile like a carousel. The ones I have uploaded are for GCSE Sociology The Family.

I made this for revision of the Family for Sociology, however it can be adapted for any revision topic. Buy a cheap jenga game, number the blocks. Students come up and remove one block. If they remove it successfully, they answer the corresponding question. If they get it right they win 3 points for their team, or 1 for consulting their team. If they remove a block and it falls, they lose 5 points for their team.

30 MINUTES is a series of provocative polemics on the UK's Channel 4 in which high-profile authors address important current affairs subjects. This show covers the raft of new legislation removing our liberties since the arrival of the 'New Labour' administration and how the majority of UK Subjects are now criminals in one way or another; there is a particular focus on the use of CCTV to capture and fine or prosecute the generally law-abiding and it's failure to deal with 'hoody' yob culture.

Since Tony Blair's New Labour government came to power in 1997, the UK civil liberties landscape has changed dramatically. ASBOs were introduced by Section 1 of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and first used in 1999. The right to remain silent is no longer universal. Our right to privacy, free from interception of communications has been severely curtailed. The ability to travel without surveillance (or those details of our journeys being retained) has disappeared. Indeed, as Henry Porter (the

Louis Theroux: Law and Disorder in Philadelphia Louis Theroux joins the Philadelphia Police Department patrolling the most dangerous part of one of the most violent cities in America. from the Telegraph review: "Making a film in one of America’s most crime-ridden cities might sound a daunting task, but Louis Theroux seems to relish the challenge in his latest documentary on BBC2 this week, Law and Disorder in Philadelphia.
