Powerpoint used for forensic in PY4 - contains the case of Rachel Nickell which is interesting to use to show how profiling can wokr against solving crimes but the students should be made aware that they should not discuss the case in any detail in the exam answer unless it directly highlights a point being made about the effectiveness of profiling.

This is a description of Steve Wright - the Ipswich murderer - and I get students to have a go at profiling, then we discuss and I give them the actual description of him and we see how close they were. They were surprisingly close and really enjoyed activity.
