To be laminated and cut out. I drew a graph on the board with level of anxiety on one axis and level of danger on the other. Then I drew a normal reaction line (at 45 degrees) and exlained that a phobia is when the level of anxiety is out of proportion to the level of danger. Students then decided where each of these cards should be placed on the graph.

These study summaries were created by myself and another teacher (thanks Karen for the original proforma!) to give to A2 students studying OCR. As we are using two textbooks and not necessarily the study listed in the textbook we decided to do these so that students could keep a summary in their folders and did not get confused when different studies were mentioned in the book.
