Super way to test the students knowledge. Students get really competitive and almost come to blows. It always amazes me at how little content of the lesson they actually take in, this is the perfect way to get the students thinking and consolidate knowledge

Based on WJEC spec, but the theories studied etc are pretty much the same as AQA for formation. I use this at the end of teaching formation theories. The idea is the group form two teams and have to describe the projected wordby describing/ evaluating. After we have finished I go through and ask students to give me A01/A02 and A03 points for each slide.Great for all types of learners.

Ppt of pictures relating to the cognitive studies for OCR AS. Get the students in small groups and select one to sit with back to screen. When picture comes up they have a limited time to guess what the pic is. the rest of the team can shout clues but cannot describe the picture OR use the name of the researchers (or aim of study). There are sound clips on the PPt but I don't know if they will work once downloaded.
