BACK TO THE BOARD This is a revision game I play with my learners after each main topic (can be adapted to any topic). I put them into teams of two. each member of the team takes it in turn to sit with their back to the board- it is the task of their team mates to describe the word on the screen using sociological clues but they must not say any of the words on the screen. if their team member gets it wrong it is passed to the other team as a bonus point. fun for students but really gets

A powerpoint game I found on the school drive but adapted for Divisions of Labour. Choose a student at random to come up to the whiteboard to play the game and see if they can escape.   It's very cheesy and childish but the sixth form seem to love it!

I use Jenga to help my students revise. You will need a Jenga game and place that in the room. Split the class into two teams and ask each person a question. If they get the question correct then the student can attempt to remove a brick and place it on top of the tower. All you need to do is create a list of questions (normally around 20) on what ever area you wish to revise. Here's my example of some SCLY1 revising we have been doing.
