I am studying the history of America and now I am staying on the 18th-19th century. During this time there were a lot of interesting and grandiose events. What do you know about American history from the 18th-19th centuries?

I don't study history, but just read about people's lives in America. And I have a crush on the life story of Sojourner Truth. It was a real feminist and a strong-minded person. Sojourner was able to survive the terrible conditions of slavery and to succeed in the struggle for human rights. She was put a monument in Florence, Massachusetts.
