There are some activities for students to complete to really cement the concepts proposed, however the teacher should have some understanding of Althussers 'Myth of Meritocracy', Bowles and Gintis 'Correspondence Principle' and Bourdieus idea that working class pupils are excluded from the content taught in schools as they favour the middle class culture.
