Jeff Standen @ resourcd

Work at Boston College, Lincolnshire.  I'm a retired Police Officer, started teaching psychology in FE as a second career in 1993.  I'm getting on a bit but don't want to retire as I can't decorate and I hate gardening.  My college have just stopped doing A-level psychology, and are moving towards vocational BTEC courses.  So I'm currently finishing off A2s, working on Access to HE and Access to Health & Social Care, and getting to grips with BTEC applied science, where I deliver criminal psychology, criminology and forensic psychology.  Whew!

I've also served on the ATP Committee and have discovered a whole new world of psychology teaching beyond Boston College and A-levels.  I've got a website that I try to maintain for my students.  Mainly teaching materials and stuff.
