Commented on Interactive Summer Project NEW AQA Spec

I wanted to develop the use of Twitter and interactive websites with my sixth formers to help develop a collegiate culture within the class, where individuals shared resources and notes.Hopefully students will interact with each other and advance their learning before the academic year has even started. You will need to develop your own padlet.com page and twitter # though.  Try and make it individualised to your school so your students tweets dont get mixed up with another schools. These tweets can then be reviewed at the start of term. This summer project covers an introduction to sociology AQA and key theories, linking them to Families.

Commented on Dancing Helix Concept used for Roles of Education

Lesson for Roles of Education + ResourcesI found within my lessons that bloom taxonomyy linked to target grades, worked really well, however as my students become conditioned to the idea of differentiated task depending on target grades they created limits for themselves.I then developed the Dancing Helix Concept, removing the hierarchy from looks and encouraging students to push themselves further.  This concept focuses on continued reflection and progression.  I would expect students to advance through a number of tasks within a lesson, this however would not necessarily be following the task circle round but they could move across and in other directions. Please let me know what you think.
